Remember that although these are no sugar and high protein they are also high fat so they are calorie dense and should be enjoyed responsibly if you are following a calorie controlled eating plan.
You will need:
2 cups USN Wheytella Premium Whey Protein
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon espresso coffee or cinnamon (optional)
1 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup melted peanut butter (sugar & salt free)
1/2 cup unsalted nuts (chopped up)
1/2 Desiccated coconut (optional)
Vanilla essence
2 tablespoons liquid sweetener (I use agave syrup)
Method:
1. Mix all dry ingredients into a bowl.
2. Add the melted coconut oil, peanut butter and sweetener into the mixture and combine will with a spatula.
3. Add the desired amount of nuts and continue mixing until well combined. You should have a non-sticky thick fudge consistency.4. Add spray n Cook into your grease proof tin and flatten with spatula. Freeze for approx. 30 minutes until set. Remove from tray, cut into desired squares and store in an air tight container.
These will easily keep in the fridge or freezer for up to a week but I wouldn’t really know as they never last that long in my house 🙂 Enjoy x
